Mariateresa Cascino is a native of Matera. She got her degree in Communication Science at Lumsa University in Rome and is a free lance Marketing and Communications consultant for both the government and the private sector.
Mariateresa Cascino is also involved in research, planning and promotion. She has worked both in Italy and in the United States, in Boston and New York, as a marketing and communications specialist for consultancy firm and for retail corporations.
She is one of the founding members of the Women's Fiction Festival and runs its communication and external relations programs.
