This year the writers' conference of the International Women's Fiction Festival will be more innovative and exciting than ever! The publishing world is changing very quickly and the Festival is changing with it, always one step ahead. This year there will be a focus on children's books and YA and thrillers/mysteries--two of the hottest genres around. The Festival will be organizing the Thriller University--focusing on the craft of writing thrillers with top forensic specialists giving information on cybersecurity and forensic medicine. Camille Mofidi, head of Kobo Writing Life Europe and Ricardo Fayet of Reedsay will be joining us. From the UK we will have senior editor Kate Stephenson of HarperCollins, top agents Andrew Lownie, Julia Churchill of AM Heath and Penelope Holroyde. Author and book promotion expert David Gaughran will be joining us again. From the US we will have top agent Christine Witthohn of Book Cents Literary Agency and Meghan Farrell of Tule Publishing. We are also delighted to welcome two innovative thinkers in the new world of publishing: former CNN correspondent and digital publishing expert Porter Anderson of Porter Anderson Media and Jane Friedman, professor of digital media at the University of Virginia. Keep checking back because we will be adding to our lineup to make the 2015 Festival the best one yet!
